GCQ - Ahoy!

It's June 1, 2020 A date many people have been waiting for, well at least here in the Philippines and in the metro mostly. Why? Well, its the start of the General Community Quarantine amidst the Pandemic of Covid 19. What does that mean... It means people need to go back to work, it means more leniency towards the restrictions. It's Quarantine No More!!! No need for quarantine pass, No need for stringent curfew hours... Social distancing and face masks, remain a must but generally as we understood it, its freedom for most peeps. Well, freedom as I've often pointed out, comes with responsibility. In this case, it means that you are responsible for your own health. wear masks, sanitize, social distance and all that stuff... lest risk getting the virus and infecting everyone you love. thing is... if you get sick, you need a lot of money for hospitalization and that's money not everyone has... Good luck to all of us. I do still believe in the goodness of our Lor

Pushing for Calm

My heart is distressed, I'm really stressing out because of financial worries.... Bills to be paid, due dates getting nearer and nearer... debts that are piling up... and finding no relief whatsoever from the thoughts that plague my mind... BUT I keep my faith, I pray continuously for God's provision. I believe that He will get me through this somehow. I know that its not an easy thing to believe or put faith in, but I have no other recourse. I cannot not believe or else, I'll fall into this abyss of nothingness... I know that somehow, God pulls me through, not always in the best way I think I need it to go, but somehow, someway, I get through with God's grace. I persevere. I believe I will make it. There's always a rainbow after the rain... Thank you Lord, I am nothing without you.

The battle is the Lord’s! Sometimes, we fail to realize how big of a God we have. He is bigger than our problems, He is bigger than our fears. He is bigger than anything we can ever face. Most especially, He is bigger than our sins. God’s goodness also abounds forever and overflows but sometimes because maybe of our shame, we hide ourselves from the Lord and therefore misses out on His grace and mercy.
