New Year... New Me?

Ha! Another year... another chance... another...

I'm really not sure what 2018 will bring but one thing is certain... things are looking up...

No.. things didn't miraculously add up and everything is fine. but I'm positive that things will for the better. We are learning... we are growing.

New me? Nah, I don't think so. We all promise to be new people when the new year comes but when we think about it, nothing really significant ever changes within our selves. We might have learned a few things, small changes here and there but nothing big ever really changes.

Why? Because no one changes over night, all changes occur in small doses, so even if its the new year, we can't simply change because we think about it. The truth is we can change slowly not abruptly.  So the new year will come and go... but we will not change with it..

So the new year will come but there definitely will not be a new me... not yet anyways... it will come and it will come slowly but surely...
