In my Uncleanliness, God Loves Still Me - Reflections: January 11, 2018

Reading from the Gospel of Mark 1:40-45 

The reading is about the healing of a leper and this is a remarkable event. It really shows Jesus compassion and love even for the outcasts of society. It teaches that we too should be mindful of everyone including those who do not belong to "our class" in society. For us to learn to reach out to everyone even those who we think are not worthy... because for Jesus, for God, everyone is worthy.

And for myself, I realize that even in my sinfulness and uncleanliness... Jesus loves me and forever his love for me will endure, regardless of how "dirty" I think  am.

God is indeed good!
